Sensitivity
We all know that some people’s skin is more sensitive to allergens and environmental irritants compared to other people’s skin. These traits can help explain why you may have more or less sensitive skin compared to other people.
Inflammations
Believe it or not, certain genes can affect how easily your skin will develop an inflammatory reaction. Genes can influence traits related to inflammation including rosacea, contact dermatitis, eczema, and acne.
Water level
In this report, our scientists and researchers have curated a number of traits correlated directly to genetic variations that can influence your skin’s oil and water levels. We’ll look at transdermal water loss, excessive sweating, and other traits related to sweating and body odor that can influence your skin’s natural oil and water levels.
Pigmentation
Genes controlling pigments in your skin not only determine your skin tone, but they can also determine traits like age spots, skin pigmentation, and dark circles. In this section of the report, we analyze your genes to see the variants you carry may affect these traits.
Sun sensitivity
Sunlight contains damaging UV rays that can cause freckles, skin blemishes, age spots, and even skin cancer. That being said, there are certain genes that can affect how sensitive your skin is to sun exposure.
