It uses our proprietary Continuity-Based Regional Framework for 30+ regional breakdowns and includes ancient DNA matching — comparing your DNA to ancient individuals from across the British Isles.
The UK Breakdown is powered by our partner Living DNA. It uses Living DNA's own marker panel and methodology, and may impute (fill in) missing genetic markers from your uploaded file. It doesn't include ancient DNA matching.
If you want the deepest view of your British and Irish heritage with ancient DNA comparisons, the British Isles Ancestry Report is the one to get. The UK Breakdown offers a different perspective using Living DNA's reference data.
