The older Free Ancestry analysis used a different method — it only looked at Chromosome 1 and relied heavily on imputation (filling in gaps in your data). That approach could create false positives, especially for small ancestry segments.
Deep Ancestry is more accurate: it analyzes all your chromosomes and minimizes imputation. If you see differences between the two, Deep Ancestry is the one to trust.
